10. Al Majlis Lounge Dubai

One of the best places to escape the maddening airport crowds is this expensive and lavish reception and service center for VIPs. Reserve at least 24 hours in advance to stake your place among only 150 people. Here you can relax in your own individual lounge area, have tea in your own little tearoom, take a shower, use your private office, or shop at the dedicated Duty Free while your personal escort attends to all your travel details for you, from check-in to immigration (sadly, you can’t use the immigration service if you’re headed to the U.S.).
