The most prestigious award of the evening, Womenswear Designer of the Year, went to Christopher Kane, who is widely regarded as one of the most talented and innovative British designers.

Burberry enjoyed a double celebration, winning both the Designer of the Year and Menswear Designer of the Year, awards which were collected by Christopher Bailey.
