Truffle Experience at L’Andana, until October 2013

Boutique Italian hotel L’Andana is serving up a truffle experience package for passionate and adventurous foodies, until the end of October.


Tying in with Italy’s truffle season, the expedition will take guests on a traditional truffle hunt in the surrounds of the medieval Tuscan town, Siena. After a few hours learning how and where to search for truffles in the company of a specialist truffle hunting dog, guests will enjoy a special cocktail and truffle menu lunch, before a wine tour and tasting of the famous Brunello wine.

Back at the hotel – set on the 500-hectare La Badiola Estate in the heart of the Tuscan Maremmas and the product of a collaboration between the Moretti family and celebrated French chef, Alain Ducasse – there’s time to unwind in the the Gourmand Spa. After a rejeuventaing 50-minute body wrap and 25-minute back massage, guests are invited to indulge in an Alain Ducasse, truffle inspired dinner.

The package also includes two nights in a double deluxe room, traditional Tuscan buffet breakfast, complimentary use of the outdoor pool and daily access to the ESPA wellness centre’s vitality sea salt swimming pool, water massage and waterfalls, indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room with aromatherapy and chromotherapy and gym.

The L’Andana truffle experience package is based on a minimum of two nights stay and is available until 1 November.
