Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix, Suzuka, 11-13 October 2013

With the 2013 Formula 1 Grand Prix season heading into the home straight, Japan’s Suzuka circuit could once again live up to its billing as a title-deciding race course.

Japan Grand Prix

One of the greatest tracks used in F1 racing today, Japan’s Suzuka circuit is a massive test of car and driver ability. Built by Honda as a test facility in 1962, Grand Prix had a new Japanese home, providing the scene for many nail-biting end-of-season deciders, including the infamous collision between Prost and Senna. Suzuka Circuit is 50 kilometres south west of Nagoya, Japan’s third largest city, and it is well liked by drivers and teams.

German Sebastian Vettel will be looking to make it four wins in five years on the Suzuka circuit to extend his lead in the championship in hopes of winning yet another successive title.
