Waldorf Astoria New York reveals restored motor court

The elegant Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York has unveiled its newly restored exclusive motor court. A haven of privacy and security, the motor court is frequented by celebrities and dignitaries keen on ensuring anonymity while staying at or visiting the hotel.

Following a $12million refurbishment, the court has been reshaped to accommodate four lanes of cars. Limestone columns support the Art Deco style arrival hall, while the drive is curbed with granite and the surface finished with cobblestones. General Manager Eric O. Long said: “The restoration of our private motor court enhances our ability to provide our guests with a compelling, singular experience from start to finish.”
