Barceló Corralejo Bay

A favourite of those looking to escape for some sunshine and relaxation is Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands. The holiday hotspot is awash with families, couples and friends all looking for their own slice of Spanish sun, but for some the addition of running, jumping, screaming kids is a step too far. If you’re after a quiet haven on the island  why not look into a break at the recently renovated Barceló Corralejo Bay.

Following a million-pound refurb, the adult-only hotel has reopened with new guest rooms and improved facilities. With a strong focus on wellness and spa breaks, it really is a sanctuary for those after some peace, quiet and pampering.

A stay at Corralejo Bay includes access to the stylish new U-Spa with all of its hydrotherapy facilities including a relaxation pool, Turkish bath and Finnish sauna. There are also two other main swimming pools, two restaurants and opportunities to visit the beach and nearby Corralejo Dunes National Park.
