The popular resort of Forte Village in Sardinia is offering guests tennis coaching from some of the world’s best players at its Tennis Academy this summer.

Forte Village Tennis Academy

The academy is run by Rocky Loccisano, Pat Cash’s former coach, and will see the famous faces of Mark Woodforde, winner of 12 grand slam doubles titles, former doubles world number one Paul Haarhius and Wimbledon men’s singles winner Pat Cash. They will each host tennis sessions throughout July, concentrating on either singles or doubles techniques, looking at strategies, how to serve, volley and much more. There is also access to high speed video analysis to help refine technique, and weekly tournaments to encourage the spirit of competition.

Complimenting the children’s Chelsea Football Academy we featured recently, there is also a Junior Tennis Academy for six to 16 year olds where budding tennis pros can hone their skills under the watchful eye of experts, in the saftey of the resort. The Tennis Academy is just one of a whole host of sporting activities available: from rugby and golf, to cycling and swimming there are plenty of new skills to learn and techniques to practice with the on-site experts at Forte Village.

As well as having 12 tennis courts, Forte Village also has expansive green gardens and six salt water pools dedicated to thalassotherapy to relieve aching muscles post-exercise.
