Movember treats at The Factory House
By

The month of the moustache is here once again!

Movember, the leading charity raising awareness of men’s health issues, has seen a huge surge in the popularity of its annual campaign – something which offers a welcome distraction from the growing winter chill. Handlebar, walrus and pencil shaped facial hair are just some of the styles to keep an eye out for.

The Factory House

Doing its bit for the campaign, The Factory House in London’s Leadenhall Market has created a safe haven for Mo Bros to eat, drink and groom in. It has pledged to donate £1 every time either the 280g sirloin steak or the Rudyard Kipling cocktail are ordered from its specially tailored  menu. The cocktail, inspired by Rudyard Kipling’s own impressive moustache, is a mix of cognac, sparkling wine and bitters. Registered Mo Bros and Mo Sistas will also receive 10% off their final food and drink bill throughout November.

Keep an eye out for the grooming tools and wax in the men’s toilet as well as the moustache shaped biscuits served with hot drinks. Guests can even join forces with The Factory House’s own team of tash growers by joining them to help raise funds together.

General manager Andrew Rhodes said: “The Factory House has always found inspiration in the great Victorian age. To Victorians, a hairy upper lip was an essential accessory and moustaches were a mark of a gentlemen. Supporting Movember was a natural choice for The Factory House and the whole team is excited about raising money for a great cause. We are looking forward to The Factory House becoming a hub of Movember activity, and encouraging guests and staff alike to take part.”
