Arjun and Peter Waney (co-founders of Zuma, Roka and La Petite Maison) teamed up with Giuliano Lotto (owner of il Baretto and Aurelia) to open Banca in July this year, promising to bring the very best of Milanese cuisine to Mayfair. Aperitivo is the latest edition to the restaurant, harnessing the traditional Italian ritual of enjoying an aperitif before the main event of the evening meal.

While  sipping on a drink such as one of the restaurant’s signature cocktails, guests will be served a complimentary collection of classic Italian snacks in the lively bar area.

Dishes from the Aperitivo menu include salted cod fritters, seared octopus with Borlotti beans and paprika, and pickled button onions in raspberry vinegar among many others.

The Aperitivo menu, which officially launches in November, will be available between 5.00pm and 7.30pm, Tuesday to Friday. Find out more on Banca’s website.
