Apple Tarte Tatin with Vanilla, Home House

This September sees one of London’s most exclusive private members’ clubs, Home House, re-launch its House 19 restaurant and bar. House 19 has not only undergone a stylish re-design but also appointed a new head chef and created an exciting menu.

In true eclectic style, the new look House 19 mixes old with new to satisfy the tastes of its diverse members. Specially curated art lines the saffron silk walls of the restaurant while pieces from Simon Edmondson and Jim Threapleton are displayed throughout. Natural light floods the generous dining room, with views across desirable Portman Square.

Headed by Jeremy Brown, previously of London’s iconic hotel The Ritz, the restaurant is flush with new treats to delight the taste buds. Traditional meats, such as breast of lamb, carved ham, pork belly and roasted game are accompanied by fresh side dishes; while seafood lovers can pick from scallops, Cornish Lobster, wild sea bass and rock oysters.

The new bar comes complete with an extensive wine list and creative cocktail selection, offering something a little more innovative from the Home House bar staff if a traditional cocktail simply won’t do.

House 19 is easily linked with the heart of the club at No 20, and the courtyard garden, celebrated nightspot The Vaults, and spa at No 21.
